Adding an Amazon Glue connection

You can connect to data sources in Amazon Glue for Spark programmatically. For more information, see Connection types and options for ETL in Amazon Glue for Spark

You can also use the Amazon Glue console to add, edit, delete, and test connections. For information about Amazon Glue connections, see Connecting to data.

To add an Amazon Glue connection

  1. Sign in to the Amazon Web Services Management Console and open the Amazon Glue console at https://console.amazonaws.cn/glue/.

  2. In the navigation pane, under Data catalog, choose Connections.

  3. Choose Add connection and then complete the wizard, entering connection properties as described in Amazon Glue connection properties.
