Monitoring Amazon Inspector

Monitoring is an important part of maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of Amazon Inspector and other Amazon solutions. Amazon provides tools to monitor Amazon Inspector, report issues that occur, and take actions to remediate these issues:

  • Amazon EventBridge is an Amazon service that uses events to connect application components together, making it easier for you to build scalable event-driven applications. EventBridge delivers a stream of real-time data from your applications, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, and Amazon services and routes, so you can monitor events that happen in services and build event-driven architectures.

  • Amazon CloudTrail is an Amazon service that captures API calls and related events made by or on behalf of your Amazon Web Services account. CloudTrail delivers the log files to an Amazon S3 bucket that you specify, so you can identify which users and accounts called Amazon, the source IP address from where calls were made, and when the calls occurred.
