Understanding your savings opportunities

You can use the Overview page on the Amazon Cost Management console to see any Savings Plans that you own, in addition to potential savings opportunities.

Note

If you currently don't own any Savings Plans, the Overview page shows a summary of how Savings Plans work, along with recommended Savings Plans purchases based on your past usage.

To access the Savings Plans overview

  1. Sign in to the Amazon Web Services Management Console and open the Amazon Cost Management console at https://console.amazonaws.cn/cost-management/home.

  2. In the navigation pane, under Savings Plans, choose Overview.

Your savings opportunities are shown under Additional savings opportunities or Savings opportunities, depending on whether you’ve made past Savings Plans purchases or not.

To view your detailed recommendations, choose View recommended savings plans. To learn more about how your Savings Plans recommendations are calculated, see Understanding Savings Plans recommendations.
