Class UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException

All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, SdkPojo, ToCopyableBuilder<UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException.Builder,UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException>

@Generated("software.amazon.awssdk:codegen") public final class UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException extends EksException implements ToCopyableBuilder<UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException.Builder,UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException>

At least one of your specified cluster subnets is in an Availability Zone that does not support Amazon EKS. The exception output specifies the supported Availability Zones for your account, from which you can choose subnets for your cluster.

    • toBuilder

      Description copied from class: AwsServiceException
      Create a AwsServiceException.Builder initialized with the properties of this AwsServiceException.
      Specified by:
      toBuilder in interface ToCopyableBuilder<UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException.Builder,UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException>
      Overrides:
      toBuilder in class EksException
      Returns:
      A new builder initialized with this config's properties.
    • builder

    • serializableBuilderClass

      public static Class<? extends UnsupportedAvailabilityZoneException.Builder> serializableBuilderClass()
    • clusterName

      public String clusterName()

      The Amazon EKS cluster associated with the exception.

      Returns:
      The Amazon EKS cluster associated with the exception.
    • nodegroupName

      public String nodegroupName()

      The Amazon EKS managed node group associated with the exception.

      Returns:
      The Amazon EKS managed node group associated with the exception.
    • hasValidZones

      public boolean hasValidZones()
      For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the ValidZones property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
    • validZones

      public List<String> validZones()

      The supported Availability Zones for your account. Choose subnets in these Availability Zones for your cluster.

      Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

      This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasValidZones() method.

      Returns:
      The supported Availability Zones for your account. Choose subnets in these Availability Zones for your cluster.
    • sdkFields

      public final List<SdkField<?>> sdkFields()
      Specified by:
      sdkFields in interface SdkPojo
      Overrides:
      sdkFields in class SdkServiceException
      Returns:
      List of SdkField in this POJO. May be empty list but should never be null.
