About CreateAppInstanceUser

Creates a user under an Amazon Chime AppInstance. The request consists of a unique appInstanceUserId and Name for that user.

This API is is no longer supported and will not be updated. We recommend using the latest version, CreateAppInstanceUser, in the Amazon Chime SDK.

Using the latest version requires migrating to a dedicated namespace. For more information, refer to Migrating from the Amazon Chime namespace in the Amazon Chime SDK Developer Guide.

IMPORTING

Required arguments:

IV_APPINSTANCEARN TYPE /AWS1/CHECHIMEARN /AWS1/CHECHIMEARN

The ARN of the AppInstance request.

IV_APPINSTANCEUSERID TYPE /AWS1/CHEUSERID /AWS1/CHEUSERID

The user ID of the AppInstance.

IV_NAME TYPE /AWS1/CHEUSERNAME /AWS1/CHEUSERNAME

The user's name.

IV_CLIENTREQUESTTOKEN TYPE /AWS1/CHECLIENTREQUESTTOKEN /AWS1/CHECLIENTREQUESTTOKEN

The token assigned to the user requesting an AppInstance.

Optional arguments:

IV_METADATA TYPE /AWS1/CHEMETADATA /AWS1/CHEMETADATA

The request's metadata. Limited to a 1KB string in UTF-8.

IT_TAGS TYPE /AWS1/CL_CHETAG=>TT_TAGLIST TT_TAGLIST

Tags assigned to the AppInstanceUser.
