About DescribeCapacityBlockOfferings

Describes Capacity Block offerings available for purchase in the Amazon Web Services Region that you're currently using. With Capacity Blocks, you purchase a specific instance type for a period of time.

Required arguments:

IV_INSTANCETYPE TYPE /AWS1/EC2STRING /AWS1/EC2STRING

The type of instance for which the Capacity Block offering reserves capacity.

IV_INSTANCECOUNT TYPE /AWS1/EC2INTEGER /AWS1/EC2INTEGER

The number of instances for which to reserve capacity.

IV_CAPACITYDURATIONHOURS TYPE /AWS1/EC2INTEGER /AWS1/EC2INTEGER

The number of hours for which to reserve Capacity Block.

Optional arguments:

IV_DRYRUN TYPE /AWS1/EC2BOOLEAN /AWS1/EC2BOOLEAN

Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.

IV_STARTDATERANGE TYPE /AWS1/EC2MILLISECONDDATETIME /AWS1/EC2MILLISECONDDATETIME

The earliest start date for the Capacity Block offering.

IV_ENDDATERANGE TYPE /AWS1/EC2MILLISECONDDATETIME /AWS1/EC2MILLISECONDDATETIME

The latest end date for the Capacity Block offering.

IV_NEXTTOKEN TYPE /AWS1/EC2STRING /AWS1/EC2STRING

The token to use to retrieve the next page of results.

IV_MAXRESULTS TYPE /AWS1/EC2DSCCAPBLKOFFERINGSM00 /AWS1/EC2DSCCAPBLKOFFERINGSM00

The maximum number of items to return for this request. To get the next page of items, make another request with the token returned in the output. For more information, see Pagination.
