Amazon Config currently supports the following managed rules. Before using these rules, see Considerations.
Configuration Changes
Change-triggered rules are rules that Amazon Config evaluates in response to configuration changes.
Periodic
Periodic rules are rules that Amazon Config evaluates periodicially at a frequency that you specify; for example, every 24 hours.
Hybrid
Hybrid rules are rules that Amazon Config evaluates both in response to configuration changes and periodicially.
